In the late 70's a young Kevin Millard took his love of bicycles and opened California Bicycle in La Jolla, California. His continued dedication to the industry, commitment to excellence and focus on quality has made California Bicycle one of the finest bicycle retailers nationwide.
Today Kevin Millard along with his dedicated and professionally trained staff continue to provide that same commitment to cyclists of all types and ages.
Now known as California Bicycle, Inc. they have become the preferred retailer among the cycling community for bicycles, products, service and just plain advice.

Dear Kevin, I would like to thank you and all the staff at California Bicycle for the most incredible improvement in my riding that I have ever witnessed.
The complete overhaul of my bicycle has been phenomenal. The effortless pedaling, especially up hills has proved to be the winning edge. Since I first visited your shop in 1985 and my entry in the Nice Triathlon World Championships, I have never experienced such an improvement.

The new Litespeed Classic you built for me is perfect. I still can't believe that you could set it up so perfectly just from measurements and talking to me about how I ride. Everything-handlebars, stem, seat, and setup-is exactly right. I've never had a bike fit so well. I come back from rides without any soreness, and I'm ready to ride again the next morning.
The Campy Record set works wonderfully. It's crisp and easy. I find myself shifting more often than I used to, because I can fine tune the gearing to my needs. I also love the Ksyrium SSC wheels. Thanks for upgrading them. They are light, quick, and stiff, and they add a lot to the ride.
I feel like a 5-year old with new, "fast" sneakers. I've got a new , fast bike that's also comfortable. I've put 150 miles on it in the first week. This thing is good for me.
